Artist duo Martinka Bobrikova (SK/NO) and Oscar de Carmen (ES) have been collaborating since 2005. Their community-based practice focuses on building and sustaining alternative social ecosystems through long-term, situated processes. By examining how power structures produce systems of value, they work at the intersection of art, everyday life, and urgent contemporary issues, proposing transitory and utopian possibilities grounded in collective agency and care.

re-(t)exHile — Guided TourYou are invited to an informal guided tour of re-(t)exHile, presented at Deichman Bjørvika as part of an ongoing artistic research project addressing the global textile waste crisis.

The tour will be led by artist and team member Martinka Bobrikova.
re-(t)exHile is developed by Martinka Bobrikova, María Alejandra Gatti, and Oscar de Carmen.
The project in Oslo is realised with the support of Public Art Norway (KORO).
BienalSur 2025
re-(t)exHile — OpeningWithin the framework of BienalSur, you are warmly invited to the opening of re-(t)exHile, a large-scale textile installation addressing the global crisis of textile waste.

The exhibition will be on view until 21 December.
