Artist duo Martinka Bobrikova (SK/NO) and Oscar de Carmen (ES) have been collaborating since 2005. Their community-based practice focuses on building and sustaining alternative social ecosystems through long-term, situated processes. By examining how power structures produce systems of value, they work at the intersection of art, everyday life, and urgent contemporary issues, proposing transitory and utopian possibilities grounded in collective agency and care.
Swap & Guided Tour
Join us for a Clothing Swap Event on Saturday, 21st February, from 12:00 to 15:00 on the 3rd floor of Deichman Bjørvika, right under the re-(t)exHile installation. Stay for a guided tour at 14:30 to explore the themes of the exhibition in more depth.
This event is organized in collaboration with United Sisters at Forandringshuset Grønland.
How to Participate: Bring up to 3 clean, functional, and wrinkle-free clothing items. Take home up to 3 new-to-you pieces. Please hang all clothes on hangers to keep the space organized.
Note: No underwear, socks, or shoes will be accepted.
Why Swap? Swapping clothes is a simple yet powerful way to promote sustainable fashion and rethink our consumption habits. By giving clothes a second life, we reduce waste and foster a more circular approach to fashion.
This event is part of the re-(t)exHile project, supported by KORO.
